Car rental terms and conditions

2. Services offered

Mz Agency offers two main services:

• Self-drive car rental, with possible delivery to airport, hotel, riad or city centre.
• Private intercity transport with driver (airport transfers and city-to-city trips).
• Main areas: Essaouira (centre, medina, Mogador Airport, Sidi Kaouki, Diabat, Ghazoua, Imsouane), Marrakech, Agadir and selected tourist destinations subject to availability.

3. Requirements to rent a car

To enter into a rental contract, the main driver must meet the following conditions:

• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Original, valid driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Valid ID card or passport.
• A photo copy of the licence may be requested to prepare the rental contract.
• Sufficient driving experience to drive safely and responsibly.

4. Booking and confirmation

You can book via the website, the online form or WhatsApp. Please provide dates, times and pick-up / return locations.

The booking is confirmed after vehicle availability is checked. Payment is made on delivery of the vehicle, except delivery fees which may be requested in advance for certain zones.

Rates start from €18/day and vary by vehicle, duration, season and delivery location.

5. Payment

Accepted payment methods on delivery:

• Cash.
• Bank card via payment terminal (POS / TPE).

6. What is included and not included

Unless otherwise stated at confirmation, the rental price typically includes:

• Comprehensive insurance included (subject to contract terms).
• Assistance for the rental period.
• Vehicle maintenance and checks.
• Taxes and admin fees.
• Unlimited mileage.
• Main driver.

Not included

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following are not included:

• Fuel.
• Fines and traffic offences.
• Parking fees and tolls.
• Late return (an extra day is generally charged).
• Additional driver (optional for a small fee).
• Baby seat and other extras.
• Delivery / return fees outside free zones (see the pricing page fee table).

7. Rental contract

The contract states in particular: delivery date, vehicle name and type, main driver and any secondary driver, number of rental days and return date/time.

It is provided with the vehicle registration document, insurance contract, technical inspection and tax disc where applicable.

8. Additional driver

An additional driver may be added to the contract and share driving with the main driver for a symbolic fee. Please mention this when booking or before delivery.

9. Delivery, return and one-way hire

Mz Agency can deliver and collect the vehicle at the agreed address (airport, hotel, riad, city centre), subject to availability.

One-way hire is possible: pick up in one city and return in another (for example hotel then airport). This service is chargeable; the fee depends on the locations. Please provide these details at the start for validation.

10. Extension, late return and breakdown

Extension: possible subject to availability. Contact us at least 48 hours in advance to confirm and update the contract.

Late return: generally results in an extra day’s charge. If the delay is beyond your control, notify us quickly so we can find a solution.

Breakdown: contact us immediately. We arrange a quick repair or vehicle replacement. Customer assistance remains available throughout the rental.

11. Renter obligations

The renter agrees to use the vehicle responsibly, follow Moroccan traffic rules, not sublet the vehicle, and return it in the agreed condition (fuel and cleanliness as confirmed).

Any fine, offence or cost linked to misuse remains the renter’s responsibility.

12. Cancellation

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge before vehicle delivery when no rental payment has yet been collected. Delivery fees already paid in advance may be handled case by case depending on the reason and notice period. Contact us for any cancellation.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution before any legal action.
